Every time you eat TRAED MOCH products you can be sure that the meat is genuinely local. We plough the land, plant the seeds. We look after and harvest the grain and the vegetables which in turn becomes healthy fodder for our animals without a trace of GM material.

When the meat is returned from the abattoir it is processed and prepared carefully to suit the customers’ needs. As we are in control of the process from start to finish, we are certain that the taste is perfect each time. We know from experience that animals which are fed well and kindly looked after taste much better.

Pwllheli has always been a famous market place for Llŷn and Eifionydd. All sorts of produce and animals, especially pigs, were sold there. We are extremely proud of our long tradition of caring for pigs - something that no one can take away from us.

As we at TRAED MOCH do not force feed our pigs they will not be ready too young. We let the piglets wean themselves from the sows naturally in their own time. They then spend the rest of their lives roaming and rooting and being fed the grain that is especially grown for them.
